Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how INBEE (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the mobile app Paws & Care (“the app”). It is the privacy policy for this app only. It is publicly available on this page. You do not need an account to read it.
Paws & Care helps people compare dog breed health, read daily dog facts and training tips, and browse breed photos. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not provide a login.
Information we collect
We collect only the information described below. We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details, contacts, photos, messages, or precise GPS location.
While you play, your dog’s name and a short live message can be shown to other players, and those messages are not stored as a chat history.
- Information you save in the app. Bookmarks, theme, language, your dog’s name and birthday, care reminders, and Boss’s Day progress are stored on your device. A copy is also kept on our server so you can continue later. The app does not ask you to sign in. Breed guides are not part of that copy.
- Device and app information. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics receive an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system, app version, language, screen names you open, an app-open event, and crash or diagnostic logs. These are used to understand which screens are used and to fix crashes. These reports are not tied to your name or email, because the app does not ask you to sign in.
-
Advertising ID.
On Android the app declares the Advertising ID permission
(
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). On iOS the app may request permission to track across apps and websites so ads can be measured and personalized. The identifier is used by Google AdMob and the advertising partners listed below. It is not used to identify you by name. - Approximate location derived from IP address. We do not request location permission and we do not read GPS. Advertising, analytics, and content servers may infer a coarse location (such as country or city) from your IP address.
- Share and link data. If you share a title, the system share sheet opens. Branch creates a link and may process device identifiers, IP address, and link-open data so the link can open the matching screen. We do not receive your contacts from the share sheet.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, so we can reply and handle privacy requests.
How we use information
- Provide the features described above.
- Remember bookmarks, theme, and language on your device.
- Measure app stability and which screens are used.
- Show, measure, and (where allowed) personalize advertisements.
- Open shared links on the correct screen.
- Deliver app updates and respond to privacy requests.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your information to build a marketing profile under your name. We do not use the app to mine cryptocurrency, install hidden software, or access data from other apps.
Advertising
Paws & Care may show banner, native, interstitial, and app-open ads. Ads are labeled in the app. Ad requests are limited to a PG content rating and are not tagged as child-directed.
Where the law requires it, the app asks for consent before personalized ads. On iOS this includes Apple’s tracking permission and, when ads are enabled, Google’s consent form. You can refuse. If you refuse, ads may be limited or non-personalized. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalization, in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Google ad settings: adssettings.google.com.
Advertising and measurement partners that may receive device identifiers, IP address, and ad-interaction data are:
- Google (AdMob, Play services, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics)
- InMobi
- Unity Ads
- Liftoff (Vungle)
- ironSource
- Pangle
- Branch
Some privacy laws treat use of an advertising ID for cross-app advertising as “sharing.” You can opt out with the device controls above, or by emailing us.
Permissions
The Android app requests only these permissions:
- Internet — load content and ads.
- Network state — check whether a connection is available before loading content and ads.
- Advertising ID — let advertising partners measure and personalize ads, as described above.
The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts, SMS, phone, or storage of personal files.
Other services that receive technical data
When the app loads a page, the service that hosts that content receives your IP address and standard request data (such as user agent). We use these services only to display content. Paws & Care is not affiliated with them.
- Breed Health Score — median lifespan, conformation, hereditary conditions, and the Breed Health Score for 155 breeds (CC-BY-4.0). Lifespan figures are from McMillan et al. 2024.
- Dog Facts API — dog facts used for daily facts, care notes, and training tips. The original Heroku host is offline, so the app also reads the project’s public dataset.
- Dog CEO — breed names and photographs.
How long we keep information
- Bookmarks, your dog, reminders, and Boss’s Day progress stay on your device, and the server copy stays, until you tap Delete my data, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes only the copy on the phone.
- Crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics are kept for the period configured by Firebase, typically up to 90 days.
- Analytics events are kept according to the Firebase Analytics retention setting for this app.
- Advertising partners, Branch keep data under their own policies, linked above.
- Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.
How to delete information
The app does not ask you to sign in. You can still remove the data we keep:
- On the You tab, tap Delete my data. This removes your dogs, care reminders, saved breeds, and Boss’s Day progress from this phone and from the copy on our server. Breed guides stay.
- Uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove only the copy on the phone.
- Reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings.
- Email inbeevnmobile@gmail.com with the subject “Paws & Care privacy request” to ask us to delete analytics or crash data that we can control. Tell us the platform (Android or iOS) and, if you have it, the app-instance or advertising identifier. We will respond and delete what we control. We cannot delete data that an advertising partner holds only on its own systems; we will point you to that partner’s opt-out.
Children
Paws & Care is not directed to children under 13, and it is not a “Designed for Families” app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad requests are not tagged as child-directed. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security and international processing
Service calls use encrypted connections where the provider supports them. Android backup of app data is turned off. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Google, Branch, and advertising partners may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection rules than your country.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. The same page address will keep serving the current policy. Continued use of the app after an update means you have the updated policy available in the app and on this page.
